In line with government guidelines regarding Track and Trace, we urge anyone who wishes to use our bar facilities to sign up and become a member of the club. We also encourage all of your members and spectators to maintain social distancing at all times whether in our bar or whilst watching the cricket itself. The players and officials have received guidelines from the ECB regarding various new procedures that we have to follow to ensure we are all as safe as we can be.

CAPTAINS AND PLAYING CHANGES.

For the 2020 season, our Senior Captains are as follows:

1st Team - Robert Barlow
2nd Team - Ben Roebuck
3rd Team - Marc Evason
Sunday Team - Alex Roebuck/Joel Gunn

I'm sure everyone will be supportive to all captains this season.

We also welcome a number of new and returning players to the club. Batting all rounder Michael Flathers joins us from Spen Victoria, Max Bettson-Burdett from Middlewich, Ben Roebuck returns from Cherry Willingham, former junior Stephen Cook rejoins us from Rockingham and experienced all rounder Ryan Tingle comes from Worsbrough.

In the opposite direction we have said to goodbye to Richard Whitehurst - who is returning to play cricket in Leeds. 'Wiggy' will be a big miss as he performed with credit for us last year.

JUNIOR CRICKET

As it stands, there is no official update regarding the resumption of junior cricket. We are optimistic that this will change in the very near future and hopefully there will be positive news soon. We will update our Facebook page as soon as we have any further news.
